AufRuhr Records erstellt eigene themenorientierte Veranstaltungs- und/oder Performance-Konzepte. So konnte im Auftrag der Emschergenossenschaft der kleinste Spielort der Extraschicht im Kulturhauptstadtjahr 2010 – das Pumpwerk Dortmund-Evinger Bach – in einen multimedialen KunstKlangRaum verwandelt werden. Die inhaltliche Gestaltung sowie die Projektabwicklung übernahm AufRuhr Records in enger Abstimmung mit open systems e.V..

Darüber hinaus ist AufRuhr Records Basis und Büro für sämtliche Aktivitäten des Vereins mit seinem gleichnamigen Festival. open systems, das sich als künstlerisches Labor und als Plattform für neue Denkansätze versteht, kann dabei von der Erfahrung profitieren, die AufRuhr Records als Veranstalter von Symposien und Kongressen zu Themen aus Kunst und Wissenschaft mitbringt.

Nicht selten führen Projekte auch zu Produktionen. So erschien im Anschluss an die Uraufführung „Klangräume“ anlässlich des 24. Evangelischen Kirchentages eine CD, zum Kongress „Hören – eine vernachlässigte Kunst“ wurden ein gleichnamiges Buch und die Hörspiel-CD „Vom Aufstand des Ohres“ veröffentlicht.

Außerdem wurden die Ars Acustica Produktionen „FlussKlang:RiverSound“ (2010/2012 / Riversound), „Der dritte Hammerschlag“ (2006 / Karl-Heinz Blomann), eine musikalische Studie zu Gustav Malers 6. Symphonie, und „ohne Worte“, (2004 / Karl-Heinz Blomann, Martin Blume) Klangtexte zur Veränderung von Sprache in Zeiten digitaler Stimmen, organisatorisch begleitet.

AufRuhr Records develops its own and unique issue-oriented event and/or performance concepts. In doing so, the pumping station Dortmund-Evinger Bach was turned into a multimedia artistic sound space and at the same time the smallest performance space of the Extraschicht 2010, the year in which the town Essen wasEuropean Capital of Culture. Its contentual composition as well as its project execution was undertaken by AufRuhr Records in close coordination with  open systems e.V..

Moreover, AufRuhr Records is the basis and office for the complete activities by the mentioned association and its self-titled festival. open systems, which considers itself as an artistic lab and as a platform for new intellectual approaches, profits from the experience that AufRuhr Records provides as an organiser of symposia and congresses in the field of art and science.

Not uncommonly do projects lead to productions. In this manner, a CD was released after the first performance of “Klangräume” on the occasion of the 24. Evangelical Church Congress, to the congress “Hören – eine vernachlässigte Kunst” a same-titled book and an audio drama “Vom Aufstand des Ohres” came out. Furthermore three Ars Acustica productions were realized on their organisational level: “FlussKlang:RiverSound” (2010/2012 / Riversound), “Der dritte Hammerschlag” (2006 / Karl-Heinz Blomann), a musical study on Gustav Maler’s 6. Symphony, and “ohne Worte” (2004 / Karl-Heinz Blomann, Martin Blume), soundtexts on the shifting of speech in times of digital voices.
